Linked from Dark Horizons this morning is a pretty extensive article about the Animatrix short films and how they, along with the computer game Enter the Matrix, tie into the plot of Reloaded. I think it’s quite innovative that The Brothers have chosen to integrate these Matrix spin-offs into the plot and theme of the films, rather than simply let them be throw-away merchandising like they so often would be from anyone else.
